Air bag module?

Air bag module?

Hi can some one tell me what these two boxes are ..Is there a seprate air bag module for the pass side and the drivers side air bag?

The box with the yellow label is connected right near the ashtray in my car but not sure what it is..I beleive it's the drivers air bag module ..Can some one let me know for sure and also where the pass side airbag module is located..thx

TIP: Anything with yellow harness deals with the airbags, that should help.

Ok thanks so the yellow label box is for one airbag or both?..does anyone know

the box to the far left is the Air Bag Control Module, essentially the brains of the air bag system. the one in the middle looks to me like an occupancy detection computer. like stated, all yellow connections/wires are air bag/ SRS related. the ABCM is the one located in the center console area, and controls the communications amongst all components(i.e. left/right impact sensors behind bumper, occupancy detection, drivers/passengers air bag units, and the clockspring behind the steering wheel.) anytime a component is changed, the system must be reset
