Considering buying another Evo - and selling the one I have now

Yeah if you go to Maaco. If you're going to do a color change, do it right. I would personally keep it man. You don't know what the hell other cars have been through. I would probably either wrap it or just spend the money to paint it and call it a day. Just my opinion, do whatever you want to do..it's your car.

There are days where I wish I had white, GG, or blue instead of silver. Then I quickly remember how it took 3 years to find one in good shape with just the right amount of stuff done to it and I quickly forget about the color. I don't know about you, but I don't admire my paint job or color while I'm driving it.
It's your money, but wanting to drop thousands for something as superficial as the color is a bit odd, frankly. Swapping in stock cams is a 3 hour job, and that seems like the toughest part about what you want to do. Why you would want to go to a 6 speed from a Shep 5 speed is also questionable. I like my 6 speed, but I would feel much better with a Shep 5 speed in its place.

Not sure about your state but if it was here in Wa, youd be paying tax, license and registration on it and that alone would run you a few grand on the new car. Id save some money and paint the one you have.
