Hey does anyone know where the Windshield washer res tank is on a 2005 evo 8 SSL ..Is it in the trunk like the 2g eclipse was or in the front ?Mine is missing and I would like to know where its located and what year tanks will fit in my car..thanks

 

In the trunk bro right hand side panel. Do you not have the owners manual? Any VIII or IX tank will fit

The Windsheid Washer Reservoir and pump are in the trunk man

Passenger side, open trunk and the panel on the right even has the Windsheild Washer Logo on it

 

Oh ok ..On my car the windshield washer logo is on the
opposite side lol..I guess some one swap it

 

There are 2 washer pumps btw, one for the windshield and the other for the rear wiper. THe pumps are attached to the washer reservoir themselves and you should see the wiring in your trunk. One is a green connector, the other is white.

 

I just bought a windshield washer res tank off a 2004 evo rs ..I beleive the tank on that car goes in the front..I have a 2005 evo 8 ssl package with acd and need a tank which mount in the truck ..I was told there all the same but I guess not ..Any one have a spare tank that mounts in the trunk PM me ..thx

 

You may have bought the Intercooler sprayer reservoir.
