I have visually and physically inspected every inch of the glass and cannot find an origin or any sort of impact so I don't think it was that.

bro i just got a lancer rear window from a local junkyard for less $75, call somebody to install it and you good to go!, also no more ugly wiper!!

i bet the only thing holding it all together is the window tint. put up a video when u remove it. i'd love to kick that thing from the inside out lol

Tempered glass - it is under tremendous internal stress - sometimes too much stress and it breaks - most likely a manufacturing defect.

Isn't the regular Lancer glass thicker? I know it is for the front windshield. I'd reinstall the original glass.
