Fluctuating idle with occasional stall

I've done some searching on the subject and it seems this problem is somewhat common although I have yet to find an answer.

Any time I come out of gear in my car, clutch in or in neutral my idle will drop like a rock. Most of the time it will keep running although it stalls at the most inconvenient times.

Subbed for responses, I've been dealing with the same issue for years. Just finished a build and still having this issue. Seems to happen sporadically and more often when colder outside for me. GL

What's your idle set at? Maybe the Kelfords could be a cause?

Mine did this through several tunes, finally after my last tune done by Franz Diebold it was resolved. This issue is in the tune. If you come to a stop and leave it in gear until 1000-1100rpm does it idle well and not stall? If yes, its the tune. I would offer my settings but it probably wouldn't help since I am running an Autronic.

Not trying to hijack but......

I've got a tune coming up after my motor break-in and this issue is going to be one of my concerns i'll be addressing with the tuner. BTW my BOV is VTA as well.

For the record I did a boost leak test and it passed perfectly the system held in 30 psi just fine.

Also my synapse's is set up to recirc.

And on top of this I'm not sure if it's related but I'm also getting some real bad gas mileage lately.

Any more opinions? Tune issue is the only answer then? I've had this problem with my evo since I bought it and have just adapted how I drive to prevent it, but if I can fix it somehow that would be nice haha.

Clean your IACV. its the sensor under your throttle body.
