While servicing my evo on the ground i decided to turn the wheels to give me more room (couldn't start oil already drained) it took alot of effort and eventually hit lock but the steering wheel kept going.. after stressing alot i found it simply jumped the splines on the slip joint so after correcting that and getting the wheel straight again i discovered it now has alot of free travel in the steering, i can't see any movement in the shaft or splines under the dash so makes me think it's in the rack

Will i be able to reset the tension on it or will it be a replace job?

I only bought the car like 4 days ago
