![Question](https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
My goal is over 400hp my tuner wants me to get new injectors 1450cc and Dual Intake Bushur Fuel Pump (he said get them from anywhere) but I already have 1000cc DW and DW Fuel Pump? The guy apparently knows what his doing he says it will lean out at over 290Kw = 380 hp approx. He said to use the MAP EF3, Tomei 270 Cams and Mani to their full potential (Which are not in yet) you need to upgrade those with the head studs for safety. Any second opinions?

Um head studs yea and I would upgrade the stock intercooler but a double pumper and 1450cc really I'm at 401 on a single Walbro 255 and 1250cc and ef3 ( see my sig for mod list) my numbers are low for now due to stock o2 housing for now but I really see no need for a double pumper for 400hp and 1450 are over kill as well I have a buddy with 1050s with over 500 I think your fine man I'm goin double pumper cuz my goal on e85 will max my single out on e85 but pump not close just my 2 cents goo luck man

I think he also wants to make it a bit more future proof but I don't see my self going over 450 hp. Plus if I'm ripping out the head studs might as well get the engine re built.

Im betting you could hit 400 with that pump and those injectors, but it might be close... he might be right. There is a really good thread someone put up recently entitled something like, "what injectors do you need..." by one of the tuners. He cited what injectors and pumps made what horsepower. Good thread.
Headstuds are a good idea. They arn't very expensive, esp if you do them yourself. If you don't want to do them the tuner should just be able to keep your torque curve in check, but still a good idea. IMO

I would keep tq under 410 for sure as far as hp I've seen it go pretty high it's really all in the tune on keeping that tq under control an having it come on further in the power band a good tuner can make it happen if they know what there doing

If I do the studs and the head gasket basically the hole head will be new except the valves what would be the max HP / TQ for the bottom end RODS, PISTONS etc?

I don't think the FMIC is that restrictive its not going to add that much hp its not worth the money hp to money ratio hehehe
