Hi there, i just bought a new set of jdm evo 8 headlight, they came with no bulb and ballast, but there a hole under that i dont know what goes there




If the same cap is on my oem gsr 05 no hid headlight, then im fine, if not i am gotta use something to cap this hole off !!!

That's a factory designed hole for the blinker fluid overflow.

 

That hole is covered when you install the oem ballast. I used an aftermarket ballast so i covered mine with insulation tape to prevent the lens from condensation.

 

Its not where the ballast is mounted, its under the headlight!!

If there is a same cap on my non hid headlight then im fine, if not i am going to make a cap with Holesaw and some rightstuff

 

yes it is. See those 3 screw holes in the bottom? The OEM ballast screws into those. Then the wires come out the top of the ballast, directly into the headlight, and run to the back of the projector, that way all the wiring is contained internally.
