Aside from the highway on ramp, and unpopulated country roads I tend to drive like a granny.. When I do let it rip I check everything out when I get home, check fluids, listen for new noises etc. And then of course wipe the wheels clean of brake dust which is almost part of my daily routine on the x...

I always wait for my synchros to mesh when I shift (even if they grind sometimes).
it's really hard not to floor it just to floor it and flick it just to flick it.

When my family or friends are with me in my Evo I drive like an old man. When the road is clear of cars, I just floor it. Oh and I cruise with my Supra since it's slow right now. Lol!

I drive it like any other car the vast majority of the time (though on- and off-ramps with no cars ahead of me are a different story). I typically don't waste my time or gas driving fast in a straight line.
Doing so makes 286 hp seem like a hell of a lot when you actually put your foot down and unleash it. If you drive the car like you stole it at every opportunity behind the wheel, it's fun, but 286 hp won't seem like a lot after a short amount of time, then you'll get the itch to mod. There's nothing wrong with that, but personally I'd rather not constantly put more and more money into it.

Eh it depends. Sometimes I like to just drive like I'm driving miss daisy but other times I get on it. I actually went out last Saturday for the last time before the car snoozes and one of the kids that was with my friends got out of his car was like "I don't know you very well, but you drive that effing car like it's meant to be driven. All I saw was the back end squatting down". I had to get on it and enjoy it since I won't for the next couple months.
