Evo 9 not pulling as hard?

I've been noticing that the Evo isn't pulling as hard... Maybe I'm just used to it because in driving it for only around 1.5 months..
It's all stock Evo 9.
What do you guys think?

exhaust, intake, LICP, intercooler, injectors, boost controller, and a tune, simple and relatively cheap parts which will make your car run a lot faster and better while probably getting better gas mileage!

boost leak test.
I'd also get a tune regardless of whether you plan on modding it. You'll gain a few ponies and your gas mileage will increase quite a bit.

It's at around 16k miles... So I doubt it would be a boost leak.
What do you think?

What RPM range is it struggling at?

I'm pretty sure that I had a boost leak (all stock pipes at the time) because when I upgraded the FMIC with all new piping (no change in tune), the car felt way better. Before, the power would hit pretty hard but just sort of plateau somewhere above 4k RPMs. Do you have the stock BOV on it?

Get stage one mods and replace the throttle body shaft seals I can all but guarantee they are leaking.

You are just getting used to it. Mine feels exactly the same.

You could do some VD pulls over time to see if anything is changing.

I felt the same way right about 15k. My brain said, "You're just used to it." But my gut (butt?) said, " Its not the same." Turned out that the injector seals were leaking quite a bit. The stock seals just don't last. New seals, and a re-tune fixed it right up. Ditto for the throttle shaft seals.

I would recommend a boost leak check, even if its stock. Good luck.
