aem cam gear slipped, help!

Only the exhaust, it went fully retarded after a wot pull, or during, who knows. I only noticed because when i went to change the timing belt I saw that it was retarded all the way. Still sounded and drove fine when I parked it, but i wasnt far from home either. Would this of caused any significant damage or thrown the timing off enough to bend the valves? Ive never had adjustable cam gears so I'm not to sure, any info is appreciated?

Retarded means you are ok. Ex Valves opening and closing later will not hit the pistons
