What to do before starting the car up after sitting?
So I am finally starting my car up after months of not being in use (I'd rather not say how many ) other than knowing the tires might be a little flat spotted, though I did rock it of the same spot from time to time, Anything important I have to do? I will have an oil change, driveline fluid and spark plugs changed out soon and I bought the STABIL stuff for the fuel though I didnt put it in before, will it help to put it in now? Any info is great....Thanks

Months isn't that long honestly, I had my old MR2 in storage for over 3 years while in Okinawa. I had the car on spare tires that were junk, just good for storage. So I think doing an oil change and priming the car before starting it might be a good idea. If you didn't put stabil in it before storage, it doesn't make a difference now. Just drive around outta boost and burn off the old fuel.

I think it depends on how long the car has been sitting and what climate it was sitting in.
For example:
If it was only sitting for a few months and you changed the oil, spark plugs, ect...and the climate is not known for moisture (condensation in the fuel with oxygenated fuels can be troublesome), you should be good to go.
If the car was sitting for a year, in a high moisture area, then there are many other steps I would suggest. (Replacing the fuel, fuel filter, brake fluid, inspecting the inside of the cyl walls before rotating the rotating assembly by hand, etc...)
