45-50k regular maintenance

Im at 48k miles. Pure bone stock. Just want to know a few things. Im taking my IX SE @ the dealership for the 50k regular maintenance. Charging me for $170. Its my first time taking it to the dealer. My question is...how was your experience with the dealer? How was the work done to your evo? Any slight difference from before? What did they recommend you do? And how much did u spend overall? Tnx

Most members on here wouldn't take their car to a dealer. There are many many horror stories on here of dealers screwing up the 60k mile service, denying it, and costing people thousands on rebuilds. The 60k mile service is a big one, where they change timing belt, balancer belt, serpantine belt, transfer case fluids... That one costs 1300-1800 at a stealershsip.
For 170 bucks they are just changing the oil and checking your tire pressure, fluids, ect. They shouldn't have a hard time doing that, but neither should you in your driveway.

there is no "50k" service for an evo and the 45k / 60k are much more than $170

Find out what they are doing yet? For 170$ you can buy all amsoil fluids for trani/engine/rear diff/ transferncase. AND new spark plugs, and check your own dayum tire pressure. A new serpentine belt is 30-50$ timing belts are a little more involved and expensive. But not impossible
