Cyber evo bov question

The closer the bov is to the throttle body, the less area there is to get back up to pressure. I imagine the higher boost you run the more potential for disturbances to your maf reading.

Could also be a clearance issue if there running as short a pipe route as possible, I would think having the bov closer to the tb would give you better response benefits than shortening the pipe route though.

Well, don't the new borg warner efr turbos have the dv mounted on the turbo outlet itself? That's as far back from the tb as you can get for the pressurized side.

Doesn't matter. It's all preference, they could have put it there so it would be more audible...

I willing to bet it is. Im sure in there build plan philosophy they wanted everything they could mount as low as possible along with possibly having clearance issues mounting it in the standard location. Every ounce counts.

Why did the factory put it where they did?
Why are most other factory BOV positions in similar spots?

In the Supra community, they are mounted in the bumper openings for visual aesthetics and to make the sound more audible.

I'm sure it's the same reason on the Evo pictured.

where can we see more detailed pictures of the cyber evo like this one? like engine bay, interior,suspension,etc... Not the body, or posing pictures.
