Cyber evo bov question

Was wondering what is the purpose of mounting the bov down on the bottom half of the upper icp as in the pic?

As far as I know its better to put it close to the tb, but theres got to be a reason why they put it there.

I don't believe it matters where the bov is positioned. I know the owner of Toxicfabs evo has the bov down there as well and the only reason behind it was to make it look cleaner under the hood. Cyber Evo may run it there so that its out of the way while they work on it.

its possibly mounted there due to clearance/fitment issues in the standard location.

But i thought the closer it is to the TB, the better is it. But i would real like to know why its that far away from the TB.

I could be wrong but I was always told its better to run it closer to the intercooler so that the air disturbance is farther away from the throttle body. Theres a great deal of debate about maf and bov positioning and I havent found it make much difference in any event.

There are a lot of differing opinions on BOV/MAF position like mentioned.

When I ran a blow through MAF setup on one of my nissan builds, I had the BOV on the hot side of the intercooler piping.

Tons of theories behind placement and changes with setups, google bro.

You'll find why they most likely did it, or at least get some new insight into different setups.
