Question Broken bolt on the fuel tank(by sending unit). How do I fix it?

I broke off one of the bolt on the fuel tank by the sending unit last time by over tightening the nut .
I'm rebuilding my Evo and that's one of my concern cause I remember I can't fill up the tank cause it leaks and the fumes goes inside the car.
Any idea how to fix it?

Could you snap a phone of the specific bolt so we can see the exact location? When you say you broke it I imagine it snapped and is now stuck in there? If so any chance of you being able to drill and extract it?

as long as you have atleast 3 of the nuts on and in triangular pattern its ok. i seen cars with only 2 nuts holding the sending unit down and still be ok.

id be concerned where the broken stud got to though like the previous poster just said.

im sure you threw it away though.. i doubt you didn't notice it snapping off lol.

Yes it's broken in half. My concerned is the fuel leaks on hard braking/acceleration if it filled up over half a tank and also the strong fumes inside. I'll take a pic soon
