Tightening the turning circumference?

Actually there were several correct answers although they were couched in humor and jest. You are right, the reason for the crappy turning radius is because of the driveshafts, size of the car, tires, wheels, suspension geometry and design, etc. No cure short of another car........ Oh yeah, even in joking, don't suggest to ppl to try foolish or dangerous maneuvers... You never know when somebody will take seriously such advise.......

Get some 185/70x15 tires for the front and get the steering adjusted to allow the wheel to turn further since your skinny front tires will allow it.

Locking the rear wheels under power should, theoretically, send your torque to the front (depending on diff type). If so, you're doing a FWD accel -- shifting the weight rearward.

However; I've never tried this on the EVO ... or, as far as I can recall, on the ST-165. I don't know any useful benefits from tugging the handbrake during accel.
