evo 8 water leak PLEASE HELP

hey guys having a little trouble with my evo. its a evo 8 and I'm getting some water on the front driver side foot well cant find where its coming from i took all the interior out immediately when i first found the water and was dumping buckets of water on it spraying with a hose looking for the leak on the inside. no water came in so i siliconed a couple grommets and put it back together and long story short i put it back together and it leaked again. i don't drive the car in the rain it just gets rained on outside.anyone have any common areas where the water would come threw to get on the driver side front floor only.

Did you check the wire harness boot?

the boot actually comes out the side. Now that I think of it, there's two. One for your speaker/ power windows. The other is the big one which is for all the fuses and other items. If you pull your wheel liner you can see it.

The most common leak is the one that corrodes important wiring plugs. Pull the kick panel for a look.
