I have a IX MR with the fog lights and for some reason I can't get them to turn on. The fog light button is lit up and seems to be plugged in. The odd thing is I have never been able to get them on until randomly one day I was pulling out of my driveway and happened to press the button and they went on, hit it again to turn them off and then couldn't get them back on after that.

make sure all your electrical conections are tight and check your bulbs as well.

Unplug them. Probe the connectors with a DVOM, see if bulbs are getting current. If they are, you're bulbs are blown. If not then trace the wires back... There is more than likely a loose connection or a blown fuse.

Do you have the headlights on cause they wont come on without that. Did you check your fuses. Did you check the plugs, are they connected. Did you check the bulb a lot of things to check before asking what's wrong with your fog light. Is there power and ground at the bulb. Is the switch plugged in.

Checked the fuse and it was fine. Pulled the bulbs out and they looked fine aswell. The button inside is plugged in and illuminated and I do have the headlights on when I'm trying to turn them on.

When you say check your fuses is there more than 1? I just checked the one under the hood.

The thing that is really odd is how they decided to work for a brief moment the other day. Ive had the car for 2 months or so now and have tried turning them on a bunch of times with no luck.

None of the IX but the MR and SSL get the foglights. Assuming yours in an MR or SSL, check the bulbs and they will not turn on with hi-beams.

how much power you making and whats your engine modifications? joke.grab a tester and check if yoy have power from switch to fog lites.
