Whats next??? Help! =)
Hello guys! Im in the middle of a question!
What would be the best way to invest about $ 2,500 - $ 2,700 in my Evo IV...
Right now my car has stock intake manifold (ported and opened the inlet to 70mm), the UICP is custom and was made very bad by a shop here in my country and last, my car use stok MAF... (mods are in my sign). I always use the car for drag racing.
I had planned to buy a set of Hoosier QTP's tires, an intake manifold (Magnus, AMS, Map Rev2-3), maybe a Muse UICP (cheaper) and fuel lab fuel pressure regulator because my current fuel pressure regulator (aeromotive) has leaks ...
My goals maybe are 600whp, I would like to boost my Black to 40 psi, but I don´t know with my setup (intake manifold and FP Black) can get my goals?
So, what do you think and what do you do in my case? Any suggestions?

nice mods, as long as you can keep your head stuck to the block more boost?, i think you have hit the limit on the black turbo dont quote me but im pretty sure they wont flow 600hp have you considered a garrett kit? also a standalone ecu with maf delete will help a tonne

I don´t know, I saw some guys runing 40+ psi with black turbo. I considered a 6262 T3 kit, but for my budget its impossible. The problem with my car are tires, I have no traction with my current tires, for that I want to use drag radials, but I want a more power too.

But if I put an big intake manifold I think I will need more gas and if increase the boost yeah, i think I will need 1,150cc maybe right?
My question is, Do I need a bigger intake manifold for that power with my setup?
Some guys can tell me theres some evos running 650whp-700whp with stock intake manifold but the always use biggers turbos like 6266-6464, so that can be a good choice change the IM? If yes, wich one?

6262 isn't much of an upgrade from a black. The stock intake manifold really isn't that restrictive until you start flowing massive amounts of air. With a better set of cams and a good tune you should have no problem making 600.
My 2.3l with a black and gsc s2 cams made just short of 700...and that was on an unported manifold and throttle body!

yeh i understand about big horsepower runnin through a black yes theyll do it but you cant tune the car properly if theyre efficiency drops you can run mad hp through a stock turbo there just not efficient at higher revs but those are some big numbers your going for i know one other guy pushing for 650 atw ill ask him and get back with some dyno figures and a mods list
