anyone running a CX Racing Intercooler?
looking for someone thats running a cx racing intercooler, specifically a evo 8. id like to see how it sits in the front and how long it is, all i find are pictures of evo 9's.
would anyone recommend this intercooler? im stock turbo for now but plan on going fp red in the future.

I agree. The way it performs is the most important, because if it doesn't perform then neither will your car. You did say that in the future you plan on running a FP Red so why not get a good fmic to support that future mod?

I would spend the extra money and get a proven FMIC. From experience i know the efficiency will be 100 times better. intake temps will be consistent and lower, almost 15* lower in my case.

I have been running one for a while now. After weeks of reading these types of threads, I bought one anyways.
I paid $250 for the IC and UICP and made significant gains. It is difficult to tell exactly because I did other things as well at the same time. However, I can tell you that it does a good job for my specific needs - 400-450hp street car. Heat soak was drastically reduced (can't remember actual temp readings). I made 350hp on a MD 5 pulls in a row at 96* temps.
Overall I would say its a great product that fits my needs.
