New to Evos. I was wondering if I could put fp2 cams for 97-99 GSX on my evo since I can get some dirt cheap. My buddy uses evo cams on his galant vr4 so I'm guessing its possible?

No these will not work. DSM cams won't work in either EVO 8 or 9.

As said above, they will not work. The lobes on a Evo cam are 90 degrees out from a DSM cam. Im sure you can fix this with a set of adjustable cam gears that are marked with 90 degree offset dowel pins for evo / dsm. But as others have stated, I also believe there would be issues around the Mivec system.

BTW stock evo IX cams are very good and you can make plenty of reliable power with them. So don't be too concerned with adding a set of cams to you IX.
