Evo 9 Taillights Issue

Hello, I just purchased a set of Evo 9 Taillights with the wiring and bulbs and put them on today. I realized that the driver side taillight has an issue where only one of the red driving lights turn on when I flip the headlights on, but when I hit the brake, the one that is not on will actually turn on. I know for sure it is the correct bulb because I tried using the bulb on the other side and it worked fine, I'm guessing there might be something wrong with the wiring but not sure what it could be, if anyone ran into a similar problem and has any input on what could be wrong, please let me know.

when you pull out not working bulb take a look at contacts if you see greenish stuff it might be corrosion from the water or humidity in general.

That doesn't seem like the problem because I tried putting it in the other taillight and it worked fine :/

Did you check your fuses? I'm not with my car atm so I can't check, but a car I used to have did the exact thing and it was a DRL fuse.

I was suspecting that for a bit, but then I put my original JDM tail back on and it was working fine, so I assumed it was the wiring on the IX USDM Tail light

Sounds good, thanks a lot for the helps, appreciate it, last resort I'm going to try and undo all the soldering and redo it, and if that fails I'll probably just get new wiring, shouldn't be too expensive, its just a matter of being able to find someone that sells it
