Windshield Gauge Pod - Anyone?

http://www.fastwrx.com/widugapod20w.html

I saw one of these in a video of an STI - It looks like it mounts to the windshield, so maybe it would work on our evo's? Kinda different, I like how they don't seem to be in the way or visible from the outside of the car.
Anyone have or seen them in person?

That looks like a pretty big distance to cover with my eyes if I take them off the road.

I was thinking something similar, looks interesting but I don't know how practical it actually would be.

true, but it's not much different than looking in your rear-view mirror

it's better than the low-mounted pods that go where the cubby currently is, and if you don't want the steering column for some reason, or a-pillar to maintain visibility, it's a viable option

that's what I was thinking...
I'm trying to figure out a gauge setup that is somewhat discrete, and functional while being awesome. Im thinking this, or the stereo relocation unit for 3 in the dash.
which this is a short tangent, but you guys know of any gauges that match/you like other than Defi and Prosport that match the oem driving gauges?

I'd buy it if I didn't already have my setup. Cheap enough to test out, looks pretty cool. You could mod it if need be.

That setup looks legit, I like it. Running the wires under the headliner will probably be pretty tricky though so it doesn't look bulky. At least from my experiences with AEM gauges, they have really thick cabling. If you try it out, post some pics!

ITs a cool setup. I just installed this on my wifes STi.

1) Its more universal then fastwrx/mach v would have you believe.

2)The instructions reference a turbo diesel and say nothing about WRX's or Japanese cars period. The double sided tapE that comes with it sucks.

3)Its not 3M and will NOT stay on the windshield and will need better double sided tape to keep it on. We had to have the shop add some additional stuff on the install.

4)Its kinda in the way of the rear view mirror. It may be because I'm tall but its a bit annoying

5). Wife okayed this setup and now she hates it. Says the gauges are too far out of the way. It may be because she's short.

This is my direct experience with with this thing. I know its not an EVO and if I could get a regular gauge for my e85 setup I would consider this but its not all its cracked up to be. YMMV

Never seen such a Guage pod, but looks pretty nice. Looking forward to seeing it when you have it mounted and finished
