06 bumper on a 03 evo

How much does it cost to change the bumper for a 06? The bumper and the installation/painting..? The main difference I see between 03 and 06 is the front bumper and I prefer way more the 06 one... So I would maybe change it..

I have no evo yet though, just getting infos..!

Alex

depends how much you can get the bumper for
they seem to go for around 500ish, paint would also depend on the shop
installation is a breeze, few bolts here and there and direct swap

Proper swap requires a bunch of parts.

it does? all you should need is the bumper and the associated hardware (which if you're buying used, should come with the bumper)

Grill/mesh, inserts, hardwares will add up. I am not sure about buying used. Paint/prep cost would be even more if you don't get the right color.
Last time I looked it's over $1000 for my car to switch to a IX front bumper.

^^ That sounds outrageous, I bought a low mileage full Bilstein suspension w/ springs for less than that...

I was thinking about doing this and called a mitsubishi dealer to get the price it was like 1100 dollars with all the grills and proper hardware. (don't know if that was painted or not.)
