I wasn't aware of how many people had the same intercooler. It's funny. This reminds me of when Turbo XS and Mishimoto copied our intercooler for the Evo X. Too bad the results are not even close to the same. Best of luck.

Last I checked, AMS/ETS/Buschur are also sold on eBay.

Here's a recent tune Tom did with one of our intercoolers. Both him and the customer have nothing but good things to say about it:

Thanks,

Our supplier had the end tank mold on hand so we decided to use it since it's one of the best designs for the platform in regards to fitment and flow.

The biggest difference between our end tanks is the fact that we modified the inlets to a full 2.5" inner diameter vs Perrin & OBX's 2" inlets. We also changed it a bit to allow the 4" version to fit behind the OEM cross beam without any cutting.

Aside from the end tanks, we use our own internal/external fin pack vs the OBX/eBay brands that will buy whatever cheap/light core they can get their hands on and slap a couple end tanks on.

^ My buddy has a VRSF intercooler for his VIII.. He loves it. Looks great, fits great and puts down good power too. He also tracks his Evo pretty hard, and has no complaints. I'd trade my Mishimoto for one in a heart beat lol or an ETS intercooler

We'd be more than happy for the opportunity to become part of your build

Shoot me a PM & we'll get you upgraded from that Mishi.

I've seen some crazy dyno results with the ebay/mishimoto intercoolers. Where the cars actually lost horsepower over the factory intercooler which I thought was almost impossible

Fin pack is the most important feature of an intercooler.

Yes very true. The Mishimoto does not perform any better than stock. I don't think their "delta v" tube/ fin design works that well, or doesnt produce any better results than the stock unit. I only run the Mishimoto, because it was free lol.. I only have sub 350 whp, so it's not affecting/ choking me too much, I think. I will say the Mishimoto manages heat soak better than the OEM unit.

Btw your video doesn't work Michael

Pretty OT but if you type in site:evolutionm.net to google it'll filter only results from EvoM (or any site, if you change it). Makes things a little easier to find what you're looking for.
