Alarm, disable imobilizer
So, I am planning an alarm install, and I have a few questions.
First of all, I have a way of hooking up the alarm, so that if someone rips out the alarm, the car is going no-where, without the potential thief spending hours tracing wires, trying to figure out why the car won't go anywhere. Even if he swaps the ECU, the only way he's getting it to move quickly is on a flatbed.
So, Having said that to simplify my installation, I am interested in having my immobilizer disabled in the ECU.
I already have a flash on my car (Jestr)... I just want to have the immobilizer function removed from the current flash.
Is this possible, and can any tuner do it?
