Oil analysis of 176,000 mile Evo.

Hey guys I found this car on the forums here last week in South Carolina so I went down and purchased it.

So I had an oil analysis ran by blackstone labs and here is what the results showed.

I mean to me everything seems to be good!

But I am just curious were the titanium is coming from that is why I made this post. As far as I know nothing inside these engines has titanium or am I incorrect in this assumption?

The car is like 99% stock. Thanks for any help!

That analysis looks spot on!

Welcome to the forums.

The titanium is used in oil for an anti-wear compound btw.

The oil that was in the car was Mobile 1 10w30 "High Mileage" I never knew about the titanium in oil! Good to know though, because it had me confused!

Nice buy. I had an opportunity to help the previous owner with a once over and some advice. As far as I can tell it is a very mechanically sound car for that many miles. Sad to see him part with it but at least it went to someone who will enjoy it.

Car looks fantastic and a great oil report to boot. How does compression and leakdown look on it?
