Is it a starter issue. Does the car turn over or just clicks.

it does neither, you turn the key to the start position and all you can hear is the fuel pump coming on.... doesn't click or anything, which led me to believe it was a fuse or wire type issue rather than a starter issue.

Check the starter/ignition fuse by your left knee behind the dash. It's the fuse you have to change when you put a COP system in.

There's a small wire that goes to the starter that has been known on occasion to fall off.

Easy way to check that is to unplug it, that will bypass it all together.

yeah, I am about to go out to my shop now to check it, where is the starter located on these cars, I've only had it a month lol... checked fuses, they seem to be intact, gonna check the clutch switch next, then the starter wire.

The starter is simple to find/replace on these cars. Pick the car up and it's right under the front center.

If it helps further diagnose the problem, it was hesitant to crank a few times last week like spun over a few times before it hit, but the next day it fired up fine and has since, it threw a check engine light upon cranking slowly last week. I had a stereo system installed and didnt have any of these issues until after the install.
