e-bay claims another victim lmfao. Should have spent your money a little more wisely and posted a WTB thread on our forums or bought a New DP meant to fit the oem o2 housing from many of the vendors bud.

Avoid modifying & the headache...by the time your done you will of spent enough money for a new DP. The sad part it's a no brand DP and who knows which o2 housing will bolt right up to it.

Its a good lesson learned I guess haha.

Do you have the factory o2 housing installed?

I know it is impossible to gauge it solely on your picture however that downpipe you have looks like it should fit.

Can you explain where you are running into an issue? Are you having trouble getting the spring bolts to thread into the downpipe or it is hitting your oil pan transfer case or something like that?

that's an evo 8 downpipe, not an evo 9 downpipe

that's why it doesn't fit. it's not a matter of "****ty ebay parts" that don't fit like everyone seems to think, it's just that it's meant for the wrong generation evo

evo 9 downpipes have a much more pronounced bend so that they clear the ACD

that's a good example of how much more "bendy" evo 9 downpipes are

Very True about the Evo DP info.

OP never mentiond the generation Evo he was trying to bolt it up to just an FYI...regardless I don't see why people driving Evo's resort to eBay parts

To each his own

I'm just assuming he has a 9 based on his profile thing, but who knows

to me, a pipe is a pipe as long as it bolts up (which i know people have had issues with them not fitting because they actually do not fit, which could still be the case here) it'll work fine

It fits everywhere else like the bend, and bolts right up to where the cat is...It just doesnt bolt up up to the 02 housing, and the 9 o2 housing tip caves in a little so the stock DP goes right over it...but this idk
