Need some guidance throwing P0011 AGAIN!

Ok so here's the issue i installed GSC S2 cams on my evo, afterwards i was throwing a P0011. Cams are sitting correctly, timing is right. Didnt know what the issue was.

THEN............IT WENT AWAY.

Figured it was a clogged feed line that had worked itself out and resolved the issue, then today it came back after a MONTH.

Anyone have any idea what would cause it to pop up after cam install, go away and then come back????????????????

ALSO: Tuner has already checked tables in tune for advancement on cams, all within threshhold. Even if it wasnt, this has to be mechanical for it to go away and then come back.

Have you tried testing the actual sensor?

Well... aside from sensors being relatively finicky electronic things, people also don't realize that connecting and disconnecting them can cause issues with shorting.

Make sure your battery is disconnected when you're doing stuff like that, and it minimizes the issue. But it is of course possible that it got beat up during the install, and now is wonky.

Something else I'd check is the connector and make sure you're getting a good solid connection.

Electrics are my least favorite thing on any car.

You'd think both a little but those electronics are touchy it could be sending just enough of a signal to the throw your CEL. Now go get a buddies sensor and try it out!!

My car is so wacky. The cel went away again. I think something is clogging a oil line and the oil pressure is fluxuating. Could be wrong.

I have had a customers car do this before. he claimed once the code popped his idle quality got worse. does yours do that? i can try and contact him for you to see if he fixed it and then relay the info to you if you like.

i think it has something to do with the oil flow though like you just said. his would come and go also.
