getting an Evo need info/advice

Hi everybody, well I just have made a choice out of nowhere to get the new Evo 7 when it arrives. It went from a thought to I HAVE TO HAVE IT in a matter of hours if you can beleive that.I currently own a Lexus gs400 I will be trading in. I have an obsession with going fast and modifying cars and what better of a platform to start with than the Evo 7.

Anyways lacking any knowledge of this vehicle I have some questions.

What will come standard in the evo 7 and what will the options be?

What will the base price be and what will one loaded up be?

Will they be hard to get or like most new cars will there not be a problem getting one? Should I think about leaving a deposit now or is it a must?

Will there be a good aftermarket and will increasing power be relatively easy?

Thanks, Mike

I agree with Claud word for word. If the Evo is even remotely mechanically similar as far as the engine goes, it will be no problem getting a US Lancer to go fast. Hell, even upping the stock boost will get you good power gains for the cost of whatever type of boost controller you decide to use.

Yea it may seem like a downgrade but Idunno somethin about the Lancer jus does ot for me.Plus my Gs is a 98 so gettin a new car is a plus.

I posted a similar thread on Clublexus and a couple of replies from some decent sources didn,t sound so promising. No acs, detoned engine, brembos optional.

Now of course I trust what I am reading on this forum to be more accurate of to what the latest really is but if the car isnt what its supposed to be I will wait.

So can someone tell me something positive, lie if you have too
