Garage Queen! Topic: Car in storage

gonna have to disagree with not getting flatspots, had my evo 9 in storage for 6 months while i was deployed and came back to permanent flat spots in the advans, you get a vibration and hum once you get em, id suggest jacking the car up just enough to take the weight off the tires but then iv'e also heard that this can cause the suspension to sag or mess it up somehow to that effect

My cars a bit of a garage queen and I agree 1.5 months is really nothing. I've left mine that long and never had an issue. That said, typically I try to at least give it a quick drive once a week. Do watch for rats though as others have said. I had a whole family of em cook off my exhaust once..... gross.

I haven't found anything yet, though it's at a new house this winter with a much more field like area... so who knows.
I find GD birds nests in the cowlings at the airports all the time. If they don't get us in the air, they get us on the ground.
Nothing worse than reaching into the engine bay to check the oil and a bunch of birds come flying out. Ugh!
