Are the top and bottom cover(where the key hole goes) same on the base models as the evo?

 

They will interchange, but they are not all identical.

The evo only came in black, the base model came in brown, and two grays, in addition to black.

The black ones used in the evo are the same part numbers as the black ones used in base models.
