Advice needed thinking of selling!
What do you think just think pull the trigger on a base WRX and trade my evo for 12k$? Or keep it and do the necessary repairs (about 3k in mantnence needed)?
I just don't want to keep dumping dough into of it some other ish comes up ... ya know, but I love my baby and she has been good to me.
Anyway thanks for your input brothers ...

3k to keep a better performing car while saving yourself the ~14k over trade in that a wrx will cost you. Answers simple to me, but it is nice to not worry about stuff breaking and needing repairs out of warranty

I don't agree. A dealer in Oregon was giving me 12 grand after he drove my car.

I would finance less than half. Cash and trade. 3.9% loan, cr score good, then pay it off in 2 years. cash and evo for down payment. evo paid off. plus some cash down if it needs to be ... but prolly nt

IMHO, since the Evo is paid off, it's in great shape (other than the $3K in repairs needed) and it's an RS I'd keep it.
Otherwise, sell it privately. I know you said the clutch is starting to slip, but is the rear diff and transfer case bad? If it is, then I can see your point, but like you said if you fix it you should keep it.
It's cheaper to keep her!
