I only took it apart because I was wondering wtf was up. Also use all new vac lines.. The host pills **** with you. It's the source of most that taper. At 18lbs atleast

i have it out and apart right now actually and i found a really tiny little plastic pipe thing about the size of half a grain of rice do you know what that is? it was under the spring and ball against the screw. and what your saying is that i want to tighten the controller all the way down like max boost? because i did that and im pretty sure it is adjusting i see the screw moving with the top and the top moves down with the screw.

I'm just saying I wasn't screwing mine down. I was just twisting the cap on and off.. After I opened it up all I found in mine was a stainless steel ball and a spring

In pretty sure it's adjusting how can u tell for sure though. If the cap is going up and down while screwing on or off means its adjusting right?

yeah it should be moving freely now, Not sure why it wouldn't be working dude, seems to me like your still just not adjusting it down at all... all the way up its like 12 lbs or so.. which is stock wastegate pressure..

so two options:

one its not adjusted down enough still.. it should turn around like 15 + times from cap off untill its tight..

and two, its installed wrong IE backwards, internals upside down or something the spring should go in first then the ball then the nipple line. make sure you have caped everything off and other then that idk bro.. goodluck

ive turned it a good bit of times about 4 turns and it still stays at 12 pounds. and i know my lines are right i have checked and double checked. and if i had them backwards it would act as there is no wastegate and spike really high right?

Just keep twisting. It's not upside down or like u said you would be spiking to 28+. It honestly takes like three or four turns a lb to turn it up..

Ok I got it. The thing said to start with one turn and it didn't do anything so I have it like 3 more n stil didn't do anything but I turned it like 6 times and it adjusted. I didn't think that it would take so many turns
