Arp exhaust manifold studs
Has anyone used this kit?

My factory hardware is quite corroded and since i'll be swapping in a ported and coated manifold, I was thinking these would be a nice addition. Any reason not to?
thanks!!

I almost ordered the same kit, but when it came time to order I was convinced to just get either OEM or STM's stud kit. No real reason to switch to ARP as the stock studs can handle the abuse. It's more of a peace of mind/bling thing. For the record I bought the STM kit and love it. Also make sure you are super careful removing the old studs and reinstalling the new ones. GL

Had these on for several months, about 5 or 6. No rust, no problems at all. My mentality was that I didn't want to snap any more of the oem studs (snapped 3 when I put on a buschur manifold) if in the future I'd get a tubular manifold or turbo.

I would recommend it. The factory studs are know to snap with some corrosion and age causing headache. If you have the turbo off at the time, it would be a worthy investment.
