"All-Weather" mat solution.
I know the Mitsu rubber mats are discontinued, the weather tech mats don't even come close to fitting, and Walmart universal ones are junk.
surprisingly enough, I stumbled across a solution. (I'm not claiming I'm a pioneer, I'm not sure if anyone else realized it)
these were throw aways where I work at.
this is the rubber mat from a 03-08 Audi A4. Test fitted it, no I wasn't driving with two floor mats.. it fits incredibly well.

That looks like an Audi OEM all weather mat. I had them in my A4 and they are really nice. You will probably have to poke a new hole in them if you want to use the stock retaining clip though.

Correct they are the OEM A4 mats. 2003-2008~
Honestly, fit is 90% perfect, its odd how well they fit the dimensions are almost exact. I'm confident the combination of the quality grippy 'feet' on these mats and Mitsus rat fur flooring solution, they should do a decent job staying in place. I'm gonna deep clean them and my carpets this weekend, so I'll see how they work. These throw always are pretty worn out, if I like I'll be trolling classifieds for a clean set.
