AFTER INSTALLING THE TURBO THE CAR WORKED FINE AND BOOSTED AND IT WAS FUN THEN 4 DAYS LATER I STARTED HEARING A LITTLE WHINING FROM THE ENGINE THAT BECAME OBVIOUS LATER AND MOST OF THE BOOST WAS GONE. I RUN A LEAK TEST AND I FOUND A LEAK FROM THE Y ( y SHAPED HOSE) HOSE, ONE OF THE WG SELENOID HOSES AND THE THROTTLE BODY SEALS. I FIXED ALL THE LEAKS AND REPLACED THE TB SHAFT SEALS AND NOW THE CAR IS BOOSTING BETTER BUT NOT LIKE IT USED TO WHEN I FIRST INSTALLED THE TURBO. I STILL HEAR THE WHINE ESPECIALLY WHEN I CHANGE GEARS AT HIGH RPM ( METAL STOCK BOV) PLUS WHEN THE CAR IS ON NEUTRAL N I GIVE IT GAS FROM THE TB THE ACTUATOR DOESNT MOVE AT ALL . WHEN I FIRST INSTALLED THE TURBO THE ACTUATOR USED TO MOVE !!!!
COULD IT BE MY WG SELENOID WENT BAD?? MY ACTUATOR CAME WITH THE TURBO NOT EVEN 500 MILES IN THEM!!! PLEASE HELP
Holy ****ing caps lock, Batman.

Okay dude, first off, the OE actuator has a 12psi spring. You won't build 12psi free revving or off a two-step, so the actuator shouldn't be moving under those conditions. Why it was when it was brand new and isn't now, I have no idea.

Second, the WGA will not cause any sort of whining noise. You've likely got a boost leak still or something else wrong.

Third, if you're replacing things like EGR and O2 sensors for a low boost situation, it's time for a new mechanic, someone who knows about turbocharged cars, and not whatever joker you've got wasting your money now.

Thanks i think it is a boost leak because i CAN hear thé whistling now when im pass 3000 RPM especially when i let off gas n keep my foot on thé clutch at high rpm. I already fixed 3 leak i Will Check tomorrow for vacuum leaks with thé carburator cleaner. Will let u know what happens
