New to this forum stuff so bare with me guys,bought apexi ecu and am going to fit it myself was wondering if any one knows what happens to the immobiliser once the new apexi ecu is fitted ???? cheers spike. uk evo 8 in scotland.

 

is there a reason you bought an apexi instead of using the stock ECU?

stock ecu is quite capable of a lot of things

 

Just thought it would be a better option,good question mind? might come in handy if i need big power. it was cheap as well £400 with controller which i though was ok likes.still to fit a load of stuff on the car,just not got much time at moment.only had car 4 months but enjoying it as a toy. got ohlins as well and 18"xxrs just could do with another 50-60 bhp .

 

Just get the immobilzer off of the stock ecu before you fit the apexi so you don't brick your car.
