^ pictures? Last I checked, LED lights in the gauge cluser and HVAC caused hot spots

 

Just bought LED's for HVAC and it has hot spots. Looks good, but I would only use stock bulbs for the cluster for sure. I can take a picture of my HVAC if you would like.

I bought red bulbs from autolumination.com # 24 I believe and it really lightened up the background. I sold my old evo with them so I cant take a pic but I will be doing the same on the new evo

 

"hot spots" is a brighter spot then what the led's put out in a area, im pretty sure these LED's put out a stream of light causeing the brightness, the only one that i see in my gauge cluster is by the "40" mph area, thats it....i've had them in for about 5 months and no issues. Looks way better than the stock stuff imo, sooooo dim. If you want a better pic i'll take one tonight if you want, but you see that those lights are as bright as those defi gauges.

OH! and you can still dim the lights if they are too bright
