+1 I'd buy it if it's cheap enough. You don't have to pay retail for replacement parts. Spend time sourcing parts it might be worth it.

I'm sure the stripes are vinyl/decals. So easy to take off. If he has all stock parts but the front bumper, that'll be easy to replace. The mechanical part is a different subject.

To me, the car does not look like it was in good hands, aesthetically or mechanically. Reason being, I don't get people who don't clean up the engine bay area? If you can't keep up with cleaning the exterior and engine bay then WTF were you doing with the car? It's obviously not a track car so WTH was up with the owner? Look at every evo owner that cares for their vehicle. Engine bay is an area you should be cleaning quite often.

Get it checked and if it comes out good then go for it as a little TLC can go a long way. Just read up on all the things that will need to be changed. An OEM front end isn't readily available at a cheap price, paint, interior probably an 8 interior which isn't, imo, even worth looking at.

By the time your done, you could have bought a better car. Save up for something better!

I would also talk to your insurance company about the vehicle being salvage, you may not ever be able to put full coverage on it, if you wanted to.

Internet sucks at work today. Don't know what guy is asking for the car but 2-4k I'd def take it off his hands.

I'd have a whole damn parts car color matched and all

5k max.
Its def. a project. Expect to have to at least rebuild the bottom end, do a 60k, replace the turbo, rebuild trans and tcase. Source OEM body parts. If you don't have to do any of the above listed then you made out.

Whoever did that paint job should be thrown off a cliff. Obviously, it was owned by a punk kid. I would pass.

The hood doesn't fit right
Looks like something is possibly off about the headlight and front fender too.

You guys do know salvaged Evo with accident go for as much as 5k

I would pay 7k-8k max

If it has no large mechanical issues.

If its just paint and order an IX replica bumper.
