No shortcut. You have to go through the fenderliner. It isn't as awful as it seems. If it's your first time, the best advice I can offer is...

TAKE YOUR BLOODY TIME. Those plastic bits will snap quite easily. Look at at for a couple minutes before you take it all apart... I see lots of Evo's with incorrectly installed fenderliners.

But it's pretty easy. I mean... not as easy as changing a bulb lol, but it's no big.

Demon (threadjack)... you plastidip your front Mitsu badge?

I've been meaning to get mine done in red, but I've been busy with my trans. Was it pretty straight forward?

mine sags too

my badge has a red vinyl overlay on it, I had it cut out back when i had a vinyl cutter. was on there for ... over a year with no peeling or issues and was washed countless times. plasti-dip would probably work also but i wanted to retain the silver areas around the badge to give it a bit more depth

badge is now off the car but the bracket piece is ugly as **** so i may put it back on since there's no easy way to remove the bracket without destroying the mesh

unfortunately, i cant really have fender liners, only because the previous owner rolled and pulled the fenders along with putting in fender spacers. he was into stance, not me so much. So, i would have to buy new oem fenders just for fenderliner, or come up with a crazy idea to have custom fender liners. any suggestions???

Have you got anything protecting the oil cooler, friend had his fender liner removed an put a stone straight through it.

i do not have anything protecting the oil cooler. I don't daily drive my evo so I'm not worried about it, but the times i do drive it, i do watch the road very well.
