Erik and Karl,
Glad to see the car actually made it. The pics look AWESOME !!!!! You have to send me your pics Karl.
If some of you dont know, I am the person that owns the 2nd French Blue EVO7 sitting there.
I can't tell what that 5th car's color is. Can you tell us??
I cant wait to have mine sitting here........................Actually driving it around town with people saying " What the hell was that" as I fly by them.

I was the back seat passenger on Karls first drive. I couldn't wedge my self in well enough not to be thrown around like a rag doll. Cornering is just brutal.
The turn in was just shocking. The low end power is great. It just attacks the redline like a big bore sport bike. Break in is going to be hard test of will power.
A lot of other cars seem kind of dull now.

They are all sold but as a policy I won't out anybody. If they want to be known to the world they can do it themselves.
But Adam has alot more sold than I had thought. Adam is pretty cool. I never thought I would say that about a car dealer.
It was not easy waiting but well worth it for the car.

I talked to CoordSport and they said that exhaust fits very well with the Evo7, and is a very common upgrade, well known and tested, and provides good results as well. My only issue is weight, it doesn't seem to be much lighter than the stock system. But I don't like the looks of the Apex'i Hayabusa, and don't know anything about the R95 either. The Fujitsubo RM-01A might be an idea, but I don't know. Ideas?

For the suspension, I am set for the Ohlins GrpN tarmac-spec shocks, w/ gravel-spec spring rates I think tarmac-spec rates will be too harsh for CA streets (streets suck here), so gravel spec will be a good compromise.

But the shocks/struts will be shortened from gravel-spec to tarmac spec otherwise the car will be sitting too high.

I wouldnt cut the dampers to have the car sit lower. You would then need to alter the anti roll bar as well because it would bend and make the car roll more. In addition to that, you will reduce the length over which the damper will work and reduce it's efficiency over bumpy road surface.

nice car
hey man, your car is freakin sick! and not to jinx you or the car by any means, but lets say you do get into an accident, how are you going to get replacement parts??? i ask cause i think the grill is tight on the evo and i was wondering if it would fit on our OZ's, and if you have a source to find replacement parts, i figured we could order the grill from the same place. just throwing ideas out there.

My vote for a titanium exhaust goes to Fujitsubo Ti RM-01A.
Hear and view the exhaust here:

I wish I can fit an RM-01A on my car...

I think ARC make a full titanium exhaust for the Evo. Damn expensive though. However, it looks like you are dropping close to 50k on the car with Ohlins, Motec, etc.
Actually much less than 50K, since Motec is included in my price (which was $30K for the car, since I was the 1st guy to buy it from E.I.), and the only reason why I am going with Ohlins is because I am getting a kickass deal on them.

WRC Woah, cool! It finally arrived. What was the wait time? Gimme a buzz, we'll do a drive or cruise along with my friend's Skyline R33, RSX-R, and my dad's M3 E46, and perhaps a friend's Mini Cooper-S along with a photo shoot.
