Wide band Decisions kind of stuck

Kind of stuck on which Innovate Wide band to go with. I'm looking at the Innovate DB Gauge kit with LC1 and the Innovate MTX-L Wide band kit. Not sure with which one i want to go with I know the DB is a little more pricey than the MTX-L but which one would i be better off with and will be best for future modding and etc?

I can tell you I spent about a year with the LC1 and it was the worst experience I've ever had. I had to RMA it 3 times, the longest it worked was about 5 months. The fourth time I just ebayed it as it would be out of warranty in a week or so anyway.

Doesnt much matter on brand unless you want all the silly features. I run the NGK which is using the newest Bosh sensor and pinned directly to ECU for logging.

Been flawless for years now

Hmm they both come with software but i have Evo scan right now which is compatible with both gauges not 100% sure on which to go with sounds to me LC1 ='s no fun so far. MTX-L doesnt need it..so hmm still scratching my head on this. Looking to order hopefully by Friday so a decision has to be made soon!

Use the NGK AFX with NTK sensor. Way better than the Bosch sensor's.

You know I just checked and in fact the NTK sensor is the one in my car. Gotta say it's been years and it hasn't died yet. The last time I pulled it calibration was still right on.

There is only a silly little dial in the back of the unit to cal it. Has def worked to tune my car for years now.

I have a 12year old NTK l1h1 in my car with a tech edge DIY controller with no issues. Love them.

AEM analog ! Looks clean and no annoying strobe lights. No need for calibration, like the innovate products need so often. And it can be used to log AFR very easily through the stock ECU

Had a LC-1 and just recently got rid of it. I had constant issues over the 12 or so months I owned it and could never get it to read anything but 21.9 at idle no matter how I tried to get it to read correctly. My tuner found it was reading rich, 15 when the car was at 12, and no amount of recalibration would fix it. Put in a digital AEM and run it straight to my laptop via a serial to usb cable and haven't looked back. Would not touch a Innovate wideband with a very long stick.

I had an AEM before, and it was pretty good. NEve had any issues. I'm running Zeitronix now and really like it alot. Simple install, and you can do a lot with the LCD bundle. Most of the sensors on the market uses a Bosch 02 sensor, so its cheap to grab one at the autoparts store if it goes bad.

I guess I have just been real lucky because my LC1 has given me 0 probs. Zeitronix would be next on my list if I decided to go in another direction though. Most folks that have them seem to like them.
