Im new to all this. But is a red more of a nice usable powerband and the turbos i mentioned more of up top turbos?

If you want to go big frame then I wouldn't do anything beyond a 3071 or 5857 dbb of course.

Thing is its hard to spec a turbo out that will suit the needs of a stock 2.0 and allow for more growth if you build or go 2.4 later.

The only compromise is going with a small big frame turbo so all you have to do is sell the smaller one and move to a myriad of bigger options when you are ready. You will end up spending more upfront for the ability to switch it up later.

Unfortunately there is no one size fits all turbo or else a lot of us would be running them and being stock motor limits your options.

I guess if this was a track car only it would be easier but its mostly a street car so I gotta plan a little more because i want to eventually do a buschur 2.4

I think im gonna do the 6266 front facing and just do a big street build. Maybe track a different car. Looking into e36's

Big street builds are super overrated.
I should've stayed stock frame.
Jus sayin'

Unless you have more money than sense don't split your investments. A big street build will take enormous amounts of money and tracking even an inexpensive car is a huge cost. Most people don't realize how much it costs to race a car. Event fees, trailer, hotel costs, fuel, tires, brakes alone are thousands of dollars.

Just track the Evo with the stock turbo and see if you enjoy it. If it's something you enjoy you won't be worried about a "big street build" anymore.
