My CN9A in Okinawa

Hey everybody... I'm an American citizen, living and working in Okinawa, JP. I figured while I was here, I'd drive something that I normally wouldn't have the chance to.

So, one year ago or so I bought myself a 1996 Evo IV, with 110000kms on it. Decent shape, rough around the edges, but a good runner, all stock except a simple turbo timer.

Onto some pictures eh...

I should also mention that I am normally a VW guy... Seeing that I currently own one in the states, and it's like my 9th... But this is fun and quick here!

Sup dude I'm in the same boat as you...just moved to Tokyo a couple weeks ago and bought a white Evo IV. I had an Evo VIII back in the states a few years ago that I loved...they're great little cars. Had to jump on the chance to get into an older model since it was so cheap here in Japan. It's tough to find parts for them surprisingly though even out here. Any chance you might be willing to part with your window visors

I'll actually be in Tokyo next weekend. Going to see Van Halen at the Tokyo Dome. Plus some sightseeing while I'm up there again. No, I badly need my rain visors down here... You're right, parts are hard to come by, but I have a few resources

You have no idea... I paid 3000 USD for mine. You should see the prices for skyline GTRs, Silvias, etc...

Already have... I do indeed love it. There's only one here on the island, but the website is easy to nav, and shipping is 5000 or less to get stuff here.

I actually just bought a set of three defi advance bf gauges and a momo steering wheel from up garage. Saved myself something like $600. It's weird though it's tough to find Evo specific stuff. Had to order the gauge pod from the UK and you already know about the visor...

I'll throw some pictures up after I get everything installed.

The only problem with Japanese girlfriends is they don't get along with the American girlfriends. Lame ;P
