This is a pretty good video...

Its fairly simple. Basically take off your intake charge pipe, put the tester on, pressurize and look for leaks

Sorry been working a lot. Haven't had time to do any work on the car but I did go ahead and order the upgraded throttle body shaft seals...Gonna replace those and see if that knocks out the bad taper problem i'm experiencing. I'll post my findings...

Speaking of throttle bodies...I haven't seen one review or thread about anyone talking about getting the ported throttle bodies they make for these cars(http://www.mil-spec.org/Evo-8-9-65mm-Throttle-Body.html) so if anybody sees this who has any knowledge of gains from these please let me know, so I'll know if it's worth the pretty penny they want for it.

Save your money and skip the throttle body porting. You could use that same $300 and put it towards injectors and running e85 and have a much larger gain in power. What part of NC are you in? Check out the Regional section and you could have someone local pull the tune off the car for you to see if it has been tuned or if the tune is safe.

I thought the cutout was closer to the turbo, you can't have both a cutout and a catback?

First off you should disconnect whatever controller you have a run a line directly from the WG to the j-pipe. And see if your hitting WG boost pressure. That would rule out an exhaust leak. And point towards that controller.

Watch these: it's in depth, shows you how to build a nice tool for cheap, and gets into lots of the tech of why and how it's important. Plus, cool videos, for someone who is a visual learner.

edit: the first two videos are really the most important, but the last two deal with some common specific issues you may run into and how to fix them. well worth the 20min.
