Vibration on the front seats?

Hello guys. I start feeling in my car a little vibration on the front seats when I drive on the highway in 5th gear at 2500rpm after 3000rpm and 60mph in 5th gear the vibration goes away until I get back to 2500 rpm but only in 5th gear in other shifts dont make any vibration/ if someone can give a solution to this issue or what can cause it? thanks for the help

Could have cupping on the rear tires, causing a little wheel hop. This happens to mine after I haven't rotated the tires for awhile. As for the vibrations, noise and funny sounds out of the interior...the complaint line forms to the left. It's a very long line. Cheap plastics and stuff.

Some of the eights have this problem including mine. It showed up right after I took off the OEM tires. I've got star specs on now and the vibration is greatly diminished. Anyway, some say it is fifth gear busy chewing through the main shaft. Until the day comes that I have my tranny rebuilt I won't know.

Look at U joints and the drive shaft-- vibration in the seat is a tell tale sign that either a joint is going out or the big doughnut is going out. My .02

Could it be the tires? I just got my evo not too long ago and it came with dunlop sp sports. Tread looks good from first glance.

Too much spicy foods.

I would check the condition of the tires. Is this happenining anywhere else, like a vibration in the steering wheel for example?

I'm going to try and clarify what I think he's trying to say.

If I'm right he's trying to say that in 5th gear and only 5th gear at around 60 mph he feels a vibration in his seats.

I actually have the same thing, if the car is in 5th gear and the revs are under 2k or so the whole car shakes violently enough so that I can't see anything in the rearview mirror. I just never shift into 5th unless I'm going over 45 mph or so.

I have also heard of a vibration or noise coming from what sounds like the drive shaft. As it turned out for a friend of mine, it was the balance shafts causing the vibrations, the belt had slipped or something if I remember correctly.

If you are at 2500rpm on the highway you are in too high of a gear for your speed. My .02
I think people are over diagnosing.

I'd equate it to the same vibes [pun intended] you get when your're car is about to stall out when you are in too high of a gear.

Does the car vibrate more when you go at higher speeds? If you go 90+mph and you dont feel the same vibrations I wouldn't worry.
