Inside of the trunk near the top of the tail light there are (2) plastic Tee's. The net loops over them.

The cargo net was a mitsu accessories.

Mine attaches no problem in my gutted trunk, Im not near my car or I would take pics

The Tees come with the net

The plastic tees come with the net when you buy it from mitsubishi. They replace two screws that hold the rear panel in from the factory. It is a really nice add on.

So I see where I can buy one but I don't see where it attaches. If someone could post up some pics of those details I'd appreciate it.

From the thread I linked, just to help, since I can't find any install pics for you guys.

Got it. No pics. Works fine. Pretty typical cargo net--Vertical mounts in between tail lights. It will hold about four grocery bags. It's the same one for regular lancers. Pretty cheap--$35 I think?

From another thread:

I have one. I got from my dealership and it was pretty cheap, $49.00 i believe i paid. The install is nothing. You screw off two caps in trunk and screw in two "t"- hooks in place and then hang the two loops from the net off them. IMO a great option to add if like me you have the sun and sound package and don't want **** flying in to the sub. Even with out the sub could still save you from a mess in the trunk!

Hopefully we still do get pictures. But I somewhat understand the mental picture hopefully I helped a little
